We all know the Assassin Creed game.
And many know his character Ezio Auditore.
Here, today we want to offer you the Assassin Creed tour, but talking about the lesser known places in Italy, where it was set.
If you have the opportunity, we recommend that you stay for at least a week, rent a car and use the one for travel between the different cities of the video game and its surroundings.
Obviously you will start from Florence, city of the hero Ezio Auditore visiting Ponte Vecchio, the Leonardo Da Vinci museum, the cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore, the Duomo and Palazzo Vecchio, the place where the protagonist's family is hanged. The city of Florence certainly deserves a visit of several days, but it is the most known destination to most.
MONTERIGGIONI
In fact, there are other places to visit around Florence. One above all Monteriggioni, a small town in the province of Siena, where Ezio's family is based (up the videogame, down the real town).
It is a fascinating fortified village, more and more alive thanks to the visitors who come to relive the videogame exploits.
As you can see, there are a square in the middle of town. Here you can find some good restaurant. The visit takes one hour, at least.
SIENA
A few kilometers away you can reach Siena (up the videogame set), another wonderful town in the area, famous for its palio, but unique in its kind with the cathedral and piazza del campo, a perfect example of the Tuscan wealth of the time.
Don't miss the visit of Duomo, and the museum on the right side. It's the best way to have an amazing view of Siena, and feel the Ezio's identity!
But above all, a few kilometers away you will find San Gimignano, one of the most incredible paintings in the game (down the videogame set).
SAN GIMIGNANO
This is because the main characteristic of San Gimignano is the presence of numerous towers, which have arisen as a challenge between the richest families in the area.
The town is wonderful and full of things to see: the museums of torture, the cathedral, the towers from which Ezio threw himself.
So don't waste time, go on an adventure and visit these hidden places in Italy. Launch yourself, but not from a tower, please.
How to arrive?
Siena, Firenze, Monteriggioni and San Gimignano are located in Tuscany. To get that, depends from the starting point of you travel, but we recommend starting the journey either by siena or by florence: in this way you will find the cities one after the other.

Ecco, oggi vogliamo proporvi il tour di Assassin Creed, ma parlandovi dei luoghi meno conosciuti d'Italia, in cui è stato ambientato.
Se avete la possibilità vi consigliamo di fermarvi per almeno una settimana, noleggiare una macchina e utilizzare quella per gli spostamenti tra le diverse città del videogioco e i suoi dintorni.
Ovviamente partirete da Firenze, città dell’eroe Ezio Auditore visitando Ponte Vecchio, il museo di Leonardo Da Vinci, la cattedrale di Santa Maria del Fiore, il Duomo e Palazzo Vecchio, il luogo dove la famiglia del protagonista viene impiccata. La città di Firenze merita certamente una visita di più giorni, ma è la meta più conosciuta ai più.
In realtà intorno a Firenze ci sono altri posti da visitare. Uno su tutti Monteriggioni, una piccola città in provincia di Siena, dove ha sede la famiglia di Ezio. E' un borgo fortificato affascinante, sempre più vivo grazie ai visitatori che vengono per rivivere le gesta videoludiche.
Ma non solo. A pochi chilometri potrete Siena, altra meravigliosa cittadina della zona, famosa per il suo palio, ma unica nel suo genere con il duomo e la piazza del campo, perfetto esempio della ricchezza Toscana dell'epoca.
Ma sopratutto a pochi chilometri troverete San Gimignano, uno dei quadri più incredibili del gioco.
Questo perchè la caratteristica principale di San Gimignano è la presenza di numerose torri, sorte per sfida tra le famiglie più ricche della zona.
La cittadina è meravigliosa e piena di cose da vedere: i musei della tortura, il duomo, le torri da cui Ezio si lanciava.
Per cui non perdete tempo, lanciatevi all'avventura e visitate questi luoghi nascosti d'italia.
